The 108-Storey Finance Tower Hanoi will be the tallest skyscraper in Vietnam, reaching 639 meters with a total floor area of 133,300 m². IBSTAC collaborated with Pelli Clarke & Partners (PCP) and secured Third Prize in the international design competition, becoming the only Vietnamese firm in the Top 3. This achievement highlights IBSTAC’s role as a trusted local consultant, ensuring international design concepts comply with Vietnamese codes and standards.

IBSTAC translates the concept into detailed drawings, prepares permit packages, and coordinates with authorities. The team ensures structural, fire safety, and façade strategies comply with national standards while preserving the competition intent.
Significance of the 108-Storey Finance Tower Hanoi
The tower is part of the Northern Hanoi Smart City (272 ha, US$4.2B) by BRG Group and Sumitomo. It is planned as a global landmark that promotes Hanoi’s image and anchors a green, high‑tech urban district.
Regulatory Review
The Air Defence and Air Force Department confirmed no impact on defence operations or parades. The Civil Aviation Authority reported no disruption to Noi Bai’s systems, though MSA/MVA may be adjusted. Hanoi People’s Committee requested continued data sharing and coordination among consultants and contractors.
