Coalimex Building – Award-Winning Office Design
Project Overview
The concept design for the Coalimex Building, headquarters of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Coalimex), was developed by IBSTAC Architects & Planners (formerly the Architecture Department of the Institute for Building Science and Technology – IBST) in collaboration with Codinachs Architects (Spain).
The project achieved Second Prize in the 2008 Architectural Design Competition, standing out among entries from prestigious domestic and international firms such as FKA (Fender Katsalidis, Australia) and VNCC.
